The real reason they invaded Venezuela

What can I say, I'm old fashion and liked when the President had to follow the Constitution and go to Congress before starting wars.
When the **** was THAT? We havent gotten congressional approval since WW2.

We cant go to congress for ANTHING, let alone to get permission on a moments notice to do a strike on a legendary bad guy. What kind of dipshit retard would expect us to hold a ******* vote every time we kill a terrorist?

Why do you want congress to decide this shit anyway? What about congress inspires you to think that they should be making these decisions? Cuz it says so somewhere? Is that it? **** that dude. Nah, only the president should decide when we go to war. Congress has no business being in any war discussion. They are buffoons and lying scumbags that can NEVER be counted on to do anything good for our nation.

I don't come up with it. The New York Times reported on it after talking to people who were there.
Oh, you aren't even smart enough to think this up on your own? You had to let someone else do the thinking for you?... lol

Dude, is that really the best you can do?

'Cause that's just sad.

"We havent gotten congressional approval since WW2."

EXACTLY

Thank you for making my point!

We've had 5 declared wars and had a near perfect track record.

Since WWII, we've lost the war or the peace EVERY SINGLE TIME and have only TRILLIONS in debt to show for it.

BULLSHIT!

We lost Vietnam, right? WRONG! Since when is it a loss for us when we lose 50,000 and the enemy loses 2 million? Just cuz we left? THATS why you call it a loss? So if you and i get into a fight, i get a scratch on my face, while you are bloodied, knocked unconscious, you have broken bones and are coughing up blood, but because i walked away from your nearly dead body while youre still breathing, that means YOU won the fight?

We havent lost shit. We straight up buttfuck enemy nations every single time we engage with them. :cuckoo:

What did we “win” in Vietnam??

There is no drug mafia in Venezuela in the Mexican/Colombian sense, and there never has been. The difference between Venezuela and Colombia/Mexico is like that between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
With all due respect to the farmers of the Chuy Valley and the Kyrgyz generals sitting in transit, this comparison is like comparing apples and oranges.

Trade with the US is minimal. There is no common border. How can drug trafficking from Venezuela to the US be organized in a technically feasible manner? Mexicans, Colombians, and other participants in the process have production facilities, delivery channels, and partners in the US (which is the most important factor).
Where do Venezuelan generals fit into this scheme?

According to the American version, it was the generals there who flooded the US with drugs.
There are no real cartels in Venezuela that any government would have to negotiate with, and it would be difficult to even invent them for propaganda purposes. First of all, because Colombia is nearby, where the entire drug trade infrastructure already exists.

Continuing with the analogy, let's say Canadian security forces wanted to get into the drug business and got the green light from the prime-minister. Could they produce cheaper than Afghanistan? Do they have decades-proven delivery and distribution channels and agreements with the right people in the US?
Perhaps the Venezuelan security forces would like to become a cartel, but they would be limited to small-scale operations.
