To summarize, the documents show that Ronald Reagan was arming and funding Saddam Hussein when he gassed the Kurds in 1983, an event which the Republicans then used as a reason to start the Iraq war in 2003. Many of the Bush cabinet members were also in the Reagan administration.

Some innocents were killed during Iraq. None of them were sent there by the POTUS on his orders to perform his mission and left to die with no support.
