Is that evil? You bet it is!!! These guys have infiltrated the Protestant churches, got their own Christian magazine mouthpieces - such as Christianity Today and they are all working for the Jesuits and the Roman Vatican. There were many translations of the Bible before the King James version, done in many languages.

Well intentioned though Jimmy might have been, his Bible was politically tainted. Sort of a Bible in the sense that the giraffe is a horse designed by a committee.

Ya gotta get back to at least the Greek versions to approximate what was written but, alas, Greek is no longer taught in liberal schools. It like Latin, once was a requirement enter schools like Harvard - when they were universities rather than indoctrination centers.

Of far more significance is the Bible that predates the KJB and was the only Bible for hundreds of years. I can see some loyalty to the Geneva Bible.

The bottom line is that every translation has issues of some sort. Translation is as much an art form as it is a science. Idioms change, words change, their meanings change, etc. Plus they all work from previous transmissions. Some better than others. Some earlier than others.

Anyone serious about biblical study has to compare between versions, which these days is super easy.
