Sure, no religion in school, no liberalism(or conservatism) in school. I am fine with that. That isn't what is happening, which is why many choose to send their kids to private schools. To the left, liberalism is ok, conservatism or religion is not ok.

There’s lots of reasons why parents send their kids to private schooled including making sure people know they’re better than everyone else.

I’ve long said that schools should teach kids how to be a functioning member of society, which required tolerance and acceptance.

Sorry if those ideals clash with you, but I never really thought of them as liberal until you guys decided that tolerance and acceptance weren’t a part of your political ideology.

Did they ban more than Boston did? I don't recall missing out on any great literature or anything back then. My faves were Mark Twain, John Steinbeck, and Thomas Mann. Fredrick Forsyth was my favorite pop novelist, along with Agatha Christie. John LeCarre was another.
