The Principal Reason The Swamp Hates Trump

Another reason bureaucrats oppose Trump is his effort to have agencies move away from the DC Beltway. Interior is way ahead of doing it and Agriculture is following. He also plans on drastically reducing unneeded and bloated departments and agencies.

What is the reason for the tons of regulations, other than to blackmail industries???

Most government regulation is to accomplish two important functions:

a. Control.
Property rights precede liberty. Perhaps some know that before it became “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” in our Declaration of Independence, John Locke wrote that man has a right to “life, liberty, and property.”
Property Rights Have Personal Parallels

Regulations effectively remove the control of one's property and annexes it to the state.

b. Far more important to the tyrants...er, Congressmen....is that by producing regulations that stymie businesses....said businesses have to bribe....er, lobby....the Representative to put in loopholes.
Every notice how many Congressmen leave government far richer than when they went in?

While citizens may not be able to verbalize these corrupt practices of regulation....on some level they understand how they are being used.

Hence.... the hatred of Donald Trump.....otherwise, they'd treat him a they do any other opposition figure.

"Poll: Majority of Americans Believe Big Government Is the Only Factor Holding Economy Back
The poll also found that 56 percent Americans viewed cutting government spending as a way to improve the economy and 59 percent said the same of cutting budget deficits. A plurality of respondents also said deregulation would improve the economy, 41 percent to 32 percent.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) wrote in the Daily Signal last month, "The most effective way to continue to unleash our country’s economic potential is by keeping Washington bureaucrats out of Americans’ paychecks." House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (Wyo.) said the economy was a winning issue for Republicans to take back the House. President Donald Trump has also said that a Democratic president would create an "economic sinkhole."

“Team Obama: Sorry, America, the ‘new normal’ may be here to stay

The good times may be over for good. In a speech to the Economic Club of New York yesterday, US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said the US GDP growth rate, adjusted for inflation, is now projected to run a little above 2% a year.”

Then, along came Trump….

“U.S. households are back to their free spending ways, with the strength of May’s retail sales figures implying that second-quarter real consumption growth (and GDP growth for that matter) will now be more than 4% annualized.

With the benefit of the tax cuts, strong employment growth and a slow acceleration in hourly wage growth, consumption growth should remain strong going into the second half of this year,” Paul Ashworth, chief U.S. economist at Capital Economics told MarketWatch.” US economy on track for 4% GDP growth?

When it comes to the most basic reason they hate Trump....well, it is less political than you'd imagine.

Trump made an election promise that shook the Deep State, the Swamp, the career pols, in their boots.
It promised to take away the weapons they used to become wealthy.

"Deregulation Nation: Trump Admin Killing 13 Regulations For Each New One

One of President Donald Trump’s campaign promises was to roll back Obama-era regulations and to lift a variety of restrictions put in place by the mammoth bureaucracy that is our federal government.

He stated in the lead-up to the 2016 election that he intended to eliminate two regulations for every new one. To date, the Trump administration is far exceeding that goal, eliminating 13 regulations for every new one.

The Washington Examiner reports:

“We’ve hit 13 to 1,” [Russ Vought, acting budget office director] told a Heritage Foundation conference on federalism. And cutting so many regulations, he added, has saved taxpayers $33 billion.

Departments and agencies including the departments of Labor, Education, Agriculture, and the Environmental Protection Agency have led the war on regulations, according to federal reports.

Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff, said that President Trump has a builder’s approach to regulations and federalism.

“It is the best kind because it is real and it’s born of real world experience,” said the former House member.

“The president has it because he had to go and pull a permit to build a building and deal with bureaucracy and doesn’t like that and knows why that impedes growth and impedes development, impedes creativity,” said Mulvaney."

Same thing here.

"So, let’s imagine that they finally vanquish Trump, ...
What happens then?

What happens then is that it’s back to business as usual, and for decades, business as usual for our garbage elite has not merely been running our institutions badly but pillaging and looting our country for power, prestige and cash.

The difference is that in the future they will be much more careful to ensure that no one who is not in on the scam will ever again come anywhere near the levers of power. You can already see it – the demands that we defer to the bureaucrats they own, the attacks on the idea of free expression, and the campaign to disarm us. Their objective is no more Trumps, just an endless line of progressive would-be Maduros with the march toward despair occasionally put on pause for a term by some Fredocon Republican who hates us Normals just as much as the Dems, but won’t admit it until after he’s out of office.

The simple fact is that they desperately want Trump out so they can return to the good old days of winks, nods, and payoffs.
It’s important to remember and to always remind yourself, that everything our elite says about its motives and morals is a lie and a scam."

Democrats have Representatives from some of the poorest districts in the country. Nothing changes to the people...but Democratic Rep (Maxine Waters, Shelia Jackson Lee, John Conyers, Elijah Cummings, Jesse Jackson Jr.) becomes wealthy. How does that happen in the party of the poor and downtrodden?

6. "The Economist, in a piece published last month, reported, “the impact of the Trump administration has been dramatic. The flow of new rules is suddenly a dribble. Since Mr Trump was inaugurated the number of regulatory restrictions has grown at about two-fifths of the usual speed.”

8. “The US Code of Federal Regulations — the annually published set of books containing all federal regulations currently in effect — contained 35.4 million words in 1970. Just as I was saying....

"There are ample opportunities for corruption in economies where excessive red tape and extensive interactions between private sector actors and regulatory agencies are necessary to get things done. The 20 worst-scoring economies on Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index average 8 procedures to start a business and 15 to obtain a building permit. Conversely, the 20 best-performing economies complete the same formalities with 4 and 11 steps, respectively. Moreover, economies that have adopted electronic means of compliance with regulatory requirements—such as obtaining licenses and paying taxes—experience a lower incidence of bribery."

This is why.

Another reason bureaucrats oppose Trump is his effort to have agencies move away from the DC Beltway. Interior is way ahead of doing it and Agriculture is following. He also plans on drastically reducing unneeded and bloated departments and agencies.

I've always thought it would be a good idea to decentralize the federal government for several reasons both political and obviously strategic. There is no good reason today to have both houses of Congress in the same physical location while the various departments should also be spread around the country. Why should the SCOTUS be in Washington? Why not St Louis or Denver?

I see no reason to move SCOTUS. The various Districts provide the differences due to geographical locations.

Why is BLM inside the Beltway when it controls millions of acres in the West?

The same could be said about hundreds of Executive boards and agencies.
