The President of Peace

Trump himself has heavily criticized US involvement in foreign wars, nation building and regime change. In fact he ran on being the president who would never do this! You must have thought he was a wuss!

Spoken like someone who has no clue about history. The US has a long history of miserably failed regime change schemes. how is any of this America first, I'll answer that for you, it's not.
Being wusses doesn't work. In fact, Hitler almost took over the entire world while much of the world, including the US, were wusses. We owe Japan a very deep thank you for bombing Pearl Harbor, taking the wuss out of our sails and saving the world.

Just a shout out to those who tried to sell Trump as a leader for peace, who told us he was unlike the neocons and Dems. Are your hands getting numb from sitting on them? Will you grow a pair and speak up? Or will we just get more feeble excuse making?

He just brought peace to the entire population of Venezuela. The people there are over the ******* moon about it. There is a SEA of celebration videos pouring out of that nation. :cuckoo:

Mkay. Don't really care. I care about America first. I care about good government.

The way I'm seeing this is pretty much the same for all of Trump's "policies". He has a gaggle of advisors all competing for his limited attention span. Trump seizes on the shiniest of their proposals - whatever will get him the most attention, piss of liberals and bolster his endlessly needy ego.

I'm sure his advisors have their reasons for taking Venezuela, but it has jack squat to do with the well being of the Venezuelan people.

Are you even capable of one small moment of honesty? Lets see.

Explain how this is NOT good for the US. Oil prices will go down, as with the price of goods. We have less drugs being smuggled in, and therefore less Americans dying. Once their economy recovers, their citizens wont be desperate enough to join an illegal migrant caravan to the US anymore. Russia and China are going to pay through the nose for oil now that this source has been cut off, while we get oil cheaper.

How is this not a slam dunk win for America? What is the downside? :dunno:

Are you even capable of one small moment of honesty?
Are YOU? Trumpeters have no consist morals or principles. You change positions at the drop off a hat. Whatever your dear leader says it does, you'll defend it blindly without a thought.

Yeah peace is so silly, until your dumb ass is on the line.
You love Maduro because he is a Hamas man and he hates Israel

We understand, even if he does thumb his nose as elections and is a drug lord.

Don't you worry your pretty little head about it because just as soon as he gets into those hyper Left courts in New York they will not only exonerate him, they will likely give him the keys to the city so he can party with Mamdani while filing counter lawsuits against Trump for nabbing him.

That should account for at least 5 more impeachment proceedings in the last half of his term.

I mean really, what was Trump thinking? He of all people understands how New York courts work, or I should say, don't work.

When Biden issued the bounty on Maduro, you had nothing to say.

Technically, yes.

Practically-speaking, not really.

Surgical strikes are different than all-out invasions and take-overs, yes?

When Biden was simply supplying weapons to Ukraine, al lI heard on here was fear mongering on how Biden was leading us to war, boots on the ground, WW3, yada, yada, yada. There was no surgical strikes, we weren't kidnapping opposition leaders we didn't like, not a single american fired a shot in the direction of Russia, nothing. BUT when Trump does all these things, there's not a peep here about getting involved in foreign wars, nothing about regime change, nothing about nation building. All things Trump vehemently campaigned on and against. All I've heard instead are excuses. Why wasn't Biden given the same excuses despite not even going 1/10th as far?

You honestly believe this is over? How do you take over a country, as Trump has described it without boots on the ground?

I, too, am opposed to the US engaging in "nation building", in regions where their primitivism makes it pointless.

Although sometimes it is, indeed, worthwhile, to intervene, when a foreign power ( China, Russia ) is worming its way in.

I wonder if we "went in" because the Russians were sending-in military advisers and the Chinese were "worming" as well?

I'd rather have a handful of countries temporarily pi$$ed at us than suffer Chinese and Russian bases so close to us.

Yep., Fun, ain't it?

And yet all we've heard so far from Trump is that this is about drugs and getting Venzuela's oil.

Ahhhhh... so it's OK when Democrats do this, but NOT OK when Republicans do this?

Absolutely not. We've seen the disaster that befell both Libya and Haiti since, despite the fact that both Clinton and Obama had a legal basis and approval of the UN security council to avert a humanitarian crisis at the time. Trump had neither legal basis or UN approval. He went into Venezuela like a dictator, on a whim, most likely to distract from the Epstein files. I remind you, this is the same man, who ran a rabidly anti foreign wars and nation building campaign and now he's doing the very thing he accused of democrats.

I don't even remember it. I would have bitched if I'd heard about it. Why does that matter in your view? Are you trying to make a point? Or are you just trolling for your dear leader?

Lol. Dumb ****. Thinks if you oppose foreign wars and interventions, you love his beloved rulers enemies.

The ugly statist.

The thinking of a child. A dumb child.

It's inconceivable to them that someone might oppose Trump and not be a participant in the two party circle jerk. It's a straight up mental block. No matter how many times you tell them, it just won't sink in.

They aren’t smart enough to overcome the brainwashing they’ve incurred.

They think everyone is stuck in the uniparty matrix, as they are.
