If you're watching the news this morning you're being told there's a breakthrough in the Iran war, a "ceasefire", a "memorandum of understanding".

But here's what they aren't putting in the press releases: Iran has just laughed the whole thing off. They called it a "ridiculous spectacle"

Why would they do that? Because they can do math. Think about the logistics here. "Project freedom", that is escorting 2 or 3 tankers or cargo ships at a time, sounds heroic until you look at the ledger. We are shooting down $20K drones with $4.3 million missiles that are now in short supply. And no matter what the *administration says our ships are taking damage. That's not a military strategy, it's a financial suicide mission. Over a billion dollars every time they run the course.

The US is trying to call a "diplomatic pause" because they realized they are acting like a billion dollar missile sponge and they know they can't sustain the burn rate.

They claim the Iranian nave has been annihilated, but they are the ones called the pause. Anyone who has been a round the block a few times can see that this is a delaying tactic.

And as a side note it is also market manupulation. I bet when we get around to looking you will find many trades happened just minutes before the announcement that caused the price of oil to dip, and many more will happen just before it starts to rise again.

Another fact free, link free rant.

We're seeing a trend here.

Is anyone paying attention here?

This was a fiasco from the get go. There is a reason no other administration has done this. And don't give me that horseshit about nuclear weapons. The reality is, if Iran wanted one they could buy one, why make one. Before this happened, Iran did not know they could control the Strait, now they do. It has been classic rope a dope

Iran has had the upper hand since day one, no need for them to do anything different. They know they are dealing with Trump.

About two weeks before this Iran war started the defense department inked a deal with Raytheon. The idea was Raytheon was going to increase the production of air-to-air missiles by a factor of TEN. There is only one way that can happen. They have to move from casting parts to printing parts. The problem is, no one has ever done it and the people that can actually make that happen are not sure it is even possible with current technology.

The level of incompetence starts at the very top, and it filters down into every level of government, as every level of government is headed by someone equally unqualifed. We have never been more vulnerable than we are under this President.

Come on, do you the attention span of a goldfish?

First, well we went in because we had the really extra special opportunity to commit a war crime and assassinate the Supreme Leader. After Venezuela, well we can do this. The Israeli's told us about the opportunity, and damn, we were successful. But the predicted ramifications just didn't pan out. The Religious Regime was going to be overthrown, the people were going to rise up, and the Iranians were going to serve up all their uranium like Moctezuma gathering gold for Cortes.

Nope, instead, the grip of the Religious Regime tightened, the Iranian people game together, Iran successfully hit US and Allied targets, and effectively closed off the Strait of Hormuz. There is no way in hell you can convince me that even a single member of this administration thought that would happen, even thought it could happen. Yet it was completely predictable. But Trump was like, "You can't embargo US, I am going to embargo you".

And we kind of do. Capture a few ships in international waters, but damn, some got through the Strait. Meanwhile, no international traffic moves, 1500 ships stranded. Trump transitions, now it is a humanitarian mission, rescue those ships, and we spend like a billion dollars, escort TWO US flagged vessels with a damn full blown destroyer fleet and air escort. Didn't make a damn dent in the backup, give that up.

Now, it appears Trump is willing to walk away and we can talk about this whole uranium thing later. Are you kidding me? The imminent threat now becomes something we can talk about later? Are you paying attention? And at this point, Iran is damn near giddy.

They've know it for a thousand years. Is it simply your hate for Trump that makes you say ignorant shit like this? Or are you truly this ignorant?

They are getting damn near everything they ever wanted, and all they had to do was wait.

The regime doesn't care about the deaths, hell those doing the dying don't really care either. They are dying for a cause and that's all many of them ever wanted out of life. The rest is just hardware.

No one in this current joke of an administration understands how these people think.

I have gramps. You should try it. Perhaps you'd sound a little less like an ignorant twatwaffle

Not that you ever had any credible argument in this thread (or really, any thread) but this post is the equivalent of waving a white flag.

We accept your surrender. We know you got nothing, we have your posts as evidence.
