The Overlap between antisemitism and anti-Zionism

Double translated. Still a non-answer. They're simple, yes/no questions. Easy enough even for a retarded Kindergartner.

Not all Jews accept or respect the Zionist State. Are Jews who oppose the Zionist ideology "antisemitic?" 33% of New York's Jews voted for a Communist Muslim. Are they "antisemitic" as well?

Let's seek some consistency, shall we?

How many times have l heard that crap?

Why not? I can question the teachings and motives of Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, etc. I can question a plethora of ideals, isms, beliefs, etc. if questioning leads to truth.
But you aren't questioning the religion, just pointing out the religion. Is there a connection? Do you identify all criminals or all events by the religion of those involved? If not, then you have a problem,

Questions with yes or no answers:

1) Am I "antisemitic" if I oppose Karl Marx who was the author of the Communist Manifesto and the son of a Jewish Rabbi?

2) Am I "antisemitic" if I'm opposed to these Jewish politicians: Jerry Nadler (D NY), Adam Schiff (D CA), Jamie Raskin (D MD), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D FL), Chuck Schumer (D NY) (and the list goes on)?

3) Am I "antisemitic" if I opposed the notorious serial killer "Son Of Sam" (David Berkowitz)?

4) Am I "antisemitic" to oppose the Israeli bombing of the USS Liberty (an unarmed naval ship)?

5) Am I "antisemitic" if I oppose abortion mechanics who, in some cases, are Jews?

6) Am I "antisemitic" if I oppose the ideology and actions of the Jewish Bolsheviks who staged the Russian Revolution and ushered in the Communist State there?

7) Am I "anti English" if I oppose what the current British government is doing to it's citizens?

Just simple, yes or no answers will suffice.
You obviously consider yourself to be an antisemite since you are trying to reduce the issue of antisemitism to such ridiculous questions, so I will take your word for it that you are an antisemite.

At the top of this subforum is a moderator announcement that opposition to Israel’s actions and hatred of Jews are two separate issues. While that certainly can be the case when criticism of Israel is specific and not exemplified by double standards or blood libel, very often criticism of Israel is indeed a cover for antisemitism, and the overlap is sometimes subtle and sometimes blatant:

1) We have posters who insist that their utter contempt for Israel is unrelated to dislike for Jews, and then in the very same post (or one that follows) refer to Netanyahu as “a Jewish bully” or make reference to “the Jewish terrorists.” If their hate for Israel is unrelated to Jews, why then identify them by their Jewish religion?

2) Similarly, where we have had active pro-Palestinian anti-Israel groups on college campuses, we have had chants of “Death to Jews!,” bullying and assaulting Jews, and even establishment of “No Jew Zones.” Clearly, there is an overlap between being against Israel and being against Jews.

3) Perhaps more subtlely, there is a tendency to use the descriptor “Zionist” in a broad and hateful way - such as “the evil Zionists” - when a Zionist is simply someone who supports the right of Israel to exist. Most Jews do, and many Christians. The word has recently taken on a negative connotation and has become a way to spew venom about Jews without saying the word.

4) Finally, the double standards applied to Israel when truly barbaric countries are never even mentioned is also a sign that hostility toward Jews is driving the criticism. This was one of Sharansky’s Three D’s of antisemitism.

To summarize, criticism of specific Israeli action (“Netanyahu is being too aggressive”) is not antisemitic while broad brush contempt using code words or lies (“those evil Zionists control the world!” or “the Zionist terrorists are committing genocide”) is.

The issue is quite complex, and the two very often overlap. The attached explains it in more detail.

There is no overlap, anti Zionism is the new anti semitism.

Actually Jews overwhelmingly voted for Cuomo. See their neighborhoods in Brooklyn, etc.
And gullible Jews don't absolve Islamic bigot Mamdani.
Yup. Two-thirds of Jews voted AGAINST Mamdani. But it wasn’t enough to overcome the 750,000 Muslims the leftists welcomed in.

This should also be a warning about what happens when we allow anti-American Jews-hating Muslims to immigrate here.

Polling Gets the Jewish Vote Completely Wrong.
The ‘Jewish vote’ in the polls isn’t actually Jewish.

Wow….interesting. So only 16% of the Jews voted for the Socialist. You can bet that 99% of the Islamists voted for him, and that’s why NYC is stuck with a Jew-hater who wants to destroy our largest city.

The challenge will come in when the rich white people flee the city, and there’s no revenue to give the ghetto people their freebies. They will disperse into NJ, putting a major stress on the state. They will then raise taxes, and the rich people in NJ will flee.

We need to cut this off at the bud.
