I don't like that peacenik church vigil. People are smoking heroin and putting on airs in the name of Jesus Christ when they do that. Is it a wake or a funeral? I've been to far too many "family" funerals. Church ladies come and bring a lot of food, potluck style. I don't know about COVID-19, but I have found it is not very healthy to eat foods prepared by people who are too intimate for how well you know them, especially at a time of mourning or vigil — and funerals tend come in clusters for unknown reasons — if I should be invited or strongly encouraged to attend one funeral, without a polite way to decline or duck out of it, will the next be mine?

They're a little bit too liberal, and some of those ladies are either "lesbian" or "in the closet" with overly stylish clothes or else there's a broomstick and they have a strange fascination with death — maybe some woman or another hates men so much as to become a «femme fatale» or she has a thing against other women.
