The Official Trump Administration Grift, Graft and Corruption Thread

Just as a side note, I frequently hear excuses made that Trump/Musk can’t possibly be corrupt because they are so wealthy they don’t “need” money.

Yet “need” is highly subjective. For some people, collecting and amassing wealth is an end in itself. In those cases, particularly where wealth represents power, there is no amount great enough to sate them.
Thanx to Trump's stooges on SCOTUS he can pretty much commit any crime, chalk it up to "official business" & he's off the hook. And he knows it.

As far as Homan & the rest of Trump's crew are concerned, they have nothing to worry about either. They know that their gangster Godfather Trump will pardon them, just as long as they keep their mouth shut & say in Trump's lane. Typical mobster playbook.

So Homan received money from the private prisons he is sending his victims to. Just normal GOP filth.

One of the top architects of Donald Trump’s immigration agenda previously received thousands of dollars from a company raking in millions from deportations.

But the White House says that there's nothing wrong with this situation.

What's more, border czar Tom Homan is just the most recent official in his administration who we have learned was paid by the private prison company Geo Group in the past. According to federal disclosure forms, Attorney General Pam Bondi previously earned money as a lobbyist for the company in Trump's first term.

The Washington Post was the first to publish disclosure forms filed last week showing Homan earned at least $5,000 as a consultant for Geo Group over the two years before he joined Trump’s second administration.

Nothing wrong with the jobs they are doing today at all. Sounds like degenerate democrats are reaching and not grabbing.

Today's made up smear by the Democrats. Where was the OP when the Biden Crime Family was shaking down everyone in sight for the right to kiss the ring?

Given that there are so many instances and example and I anticipate many more over the next four years, I think it it might be good to track them in one thread. Whether it is conflicts of interest, pay for play, corruption, influence peddling, pardoning or dropping charges on those accused or convicted of corruption, profiting from the office…put it all here. With the whole-sale dismantling or neutering of many watchdog agencies/boards/councils set up to provide an independent system of checks and balances and protect whistle-blowers, this has become so blatent and unapologetic, it seems as if the administration is thumbing their nose at us and daring anyone to speak up. If they do, they will almost certainly become a target.

I’ll start with something pretty mild compared to what has gone on so far (such as the case with Eric Adams).

Tom Homan, Trump’s “Border Czar” has financial ties to a large private prison corporation which will benefit from contracts to incarcerate deportees.

Ethics experts and immigrant rights advocates are raising concerns over newly disclosed financial ties between Tom Homan, Trump's "border czar," and GEO Group, a major private prison company poised to benefit from the administration's push to expand immigrant detention.

According to a federal ethics disclosure obtained by The Washington Post, Homan received more than $5,000 in consulting fees from GEO Care, a division of GEO Group, in the two years prior to joining the Trump administration in January.

Wow, a whopping 5K over two years, what ever will Holman do with such a windfall? Also he obviously wasn't working for the govt at the time. This is just more gaslighting and smears from the open borders crowd. Give me a freaking break.

You are ******* hilarious. :auiqs.jpg:
You are ******* hilarious being confused by the difference between the Trump Organization, the independent business entity, and Trump the president - the two don't have anything to do with each other.

You are ******* hilarious that you wrongly conflate the two just because they both have 'Trump' in their name.

But I get it. TDS driven smear machine demands that wrong conflation, so you unthinkingly just parrot it.

The U.S. president’s Trump Organization family business and its local partners received approval for the project just last week from the Communist authorities in Vietnam, which is separately negotiating over tariffs with Washington.

You think the Vietnamese government cutting through red tape to fast track the golf course approval at a time when tariffs are being negotiated with a guy known to be vindictive is a coincidence?

When officials in the home province of Vietnam’s top leader went door to door recently, pressing residents to sign letters agreeing to the Trump Organization’s plans for a new golf community, Le Van Truong wanted to refuse.

Planning documents promised a “new benchmark in luxury, recreation and business.” Mr. Truong, 54, pictured something else: the uprooting of a cemetery with five generations of his ancestors and the loss of rich farmland that has sustained local families for centuries.

Yet he signed anyway, because, as he put it, “there’s nothing I can do.”

“Trump says it’s separate — the presidency and his business,” Mr. Truong said. “But he has the power to do whatever he wants.”

When reality hits, it will be clear,
that at least 80% of our leaders Both Party's DO NOT work for us,
Its about power & money, and they have more of that.

There is no difference.

There is no difference.
Yeah, right. </sarcasm>

Evidence Against Direct Involvement
  1. Management by Sons:
    • The Trump Organization is now run by Eric and Donald Trump Jr., who oversee day-to-day operations, as stated by the White House and Trump Organization (USA Today, May 14, 2025; AP News, May 13, 2025). Trump claims he is not involved in daily decision-making, per the second-term ethics agreement (ABC News, May 13, 2025).web:21,23,24
    • Eric Trump’s leadership in projects, like the Vietnam golf complex groundbreaking, and Donald Trump Jr.’s role in World Liberty Financial and Trump Media, support claims of delegated management (Reuters, May 21, 2025; New York Times, May 27, 2025).web:6,12
    • X post by @SupergirlsTwin (May 29, 2025) asserts Trump “removed himself 100% from the business” upon election, reflecting supporter sentiment (SupergirlsTwin, 2025).post:3
  2. White House Denials:
    • White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and House Speaker Mike Johnson have dismissed conflict-of-interest concerns, stating Trump acts in the public’s interest and his sons manage the business (NBC News, May 15, 2025; USA Today, May 14, 2025). Johnson claimed he lacks expertise on the matter, deflecting scrutiny (NBC News, May 15, 2025).web:18,21
    • Trump denied discussing business deals, like golf or real estate, during Saudi meetings, insisting his focus was diplomacy (USA Today, May 14, 2025).web:21
  3. Trust Structure:
    • Trump’s assets are in a trust managed by Donald Trump Jr. and a trustee, theoretically separating him from operational control (New York Times, May 27, 2025). This structure is cited as evidence of limited direct involvement (AP News, May 13, 2025).web:6,23

"not involved in daily decision-making" and
"The Trump Organization is now run by Eric and Donald Trump Jr."
should be clues for the propagandized who thing otherwise.

Put it another way, where are the ethics and emoluments cases and convictions?
I haven't heard of a single investigation or case being actively pursued, so it must be nothing more than blowing smoke.
