I am not familiar with the books or the series. I've seen a couple of YouTube videos about each. Here are some of the issues that many have with the series:
* The show was blatant about forced diversity in its casting
* The show pushed gay storylines and propaganda not present in the books
* The books' main character, a Chosen One type savior, is male, but the series downplayed his importance and elevated the importance of a female character
* A conceit of the series was the division between the sexes as far as magic -- both sexes could work magic, but each sex had its own style of magic -- but the show downplayed this to create a kind of magical gender equality which ran against a major point of the book
I really have to repeat that I know nothing about the books or the show and all of my "knowledge" is of the second-hand, "barely care" variety. Everything I just wrote could be wrong.
But I doubt it.

You do know Trump has a 5 to 6% more liberal support from democrats? That's huge! You loons are losing big time! LolGiven that there are so many instances and example and I anticipate many more over the next four years, I think it it might be good to track them in one thread. Whether it is conflicts of interest, pay for play, corruption, influence peddling, pardoning or dropping charges on those accused or convicted of corruption, profiting from the office…put it all here. With the whole-sale dismantling or neutering of many watchdog agencies/boards/councils set up to provide an independent system of checks and balances and protect whistle-blowers, this has become so blatent and unapologetic, it seems as if the administration is thumbing their nose at us and daring anyone to speak up. If they do, they will almost certainly become a target.

So just what is Trump guilty of this time??? What can be done about it, with his immunity??? Impeach him??? Sorry, but with a GOP Congress, I doubt that would happen.
Biden on the other hand, doesn't have those same protections. Yet if Trump and/or Congress were to prosecute Biden and/or his administration, ya'll would be crying about 'going after political opponents like a dictator'........but you're already doing that and not much has happened to warrant it.
