Supremacy clause has nothing to do with states not engaging with the feds for law enforcement.Never said it did, but it prevents officials from obstructing federal law.

That's been hashed out here earlier.It doesn't - in fact the SC has ruled the federal government cannot force the states to enforce federal law.
The states, however, cannot hinder or obstruct the federal government in enforcing federal law.
Police are overwhelmed in many parts of cities and can't enforce existing laws to protect citizens thus affecting their right to equal protection and restricting their liberty.And how exactly are these states violating that?
