And if you are a woman from the Muslim minority in India your rapists and the murderers of your family may be released from serving their life sentences, as happened in Gujarat in 2002.

Consider the treatment of the Rohingya Muslims by the Burmese and its military. Tens of thousands have been raped and murdered and millions displaced abroad.

Yes, and I’ve pointed that out repeatedly as an example of the double standard applied to Israel. We have constant condemnation of Israel and (false) claims of genocide - with young people marching around chanting “Death to Jews!”.

Where are all the cries about the genocide by Burma? Where they have intentionally murdered tens of thousands of Rohingya Muslims?

Or, for that matter, where were all the riots and sit-ins at leftist universities when the Iranian Terrorist Regime intentionally murdered 50,000 of its own innocent citizens, merely for protesting?

We do not know the exact figure for how many were murdered but given the Islamophobia I have read on this microcosm of US opinion perchance many did not care. Nor, as I am not in the USA, am I aware as to how much attention was given to those atrocities in the US press at the time.

None of them though have an ideology (masquerading as a religion ) that has a book whose doctrine is believed to be the word of God, which advocates in Koran 4:34 (if not commands) Muslim husbands to beat their wives (one translation says "scourge" (beat with a whip).
