This is really nothing new in US foreign policy. It's actually one of our specialties.....interfering in Central and South American countries.
Just look at Hawaii......we literally overthrew the government of our own 50th state.
Wherever there's oil or sugar,...or lithium.... some big corporation has its dirty hands in it.
