The more guns in a country the more gun deaths.

The highest rates of homocides are in countries with weak governments; developing countries.
If you want government to not interfere in your life move to Mexico.

Making shit up again.

Governments murder more people than guns do.......the socialists of Europe murdered 15 million people in just 6 years...more people murdered than in the entire history of gun murder in the United States......we don't even come close....and that is why we have guns.....to stop government from murdering us.

The more guns in a country the more gun deaths.
The more mental illness does not correlate to more gun deaths
current study debunks the widely quoted hypothesis that guns make a nation safer.

The number of guns per capita per country was a strong and independent predictor of firearm-related death in a given country, whereas the predictive power of the mental illness burden was of borderline significance in a multivariable model. Regardless of exact cause and effect, however, the current study debunks the widely quoted hypothesis that guns make a nation safer.

I bet you belong to neighborhood watch. When one of your neighbors gets jacked you and your friends show up to watch. To ease your fears put a sign on your front yard "I'M UNARMED, DON'T KILL ME. If ever threatened or attacked, you will roll into a fetal ball because soon your attackers will tire of you and move on to other family members.

The Supreme Court said so.

6. The right to bear arms is not granted by the Constitution;neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence. The Second Amendments means no more than that it shall not be infringed by Congress, and has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the National Government.

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc, amendments do not grant rights, but protect rights which pre-exist the constitution.

You can believe otherwise, but you have to be ignorant, idiotic and dishonest to do so.
You may begin.
OK, the Constitution protects the right to bear arms. It is protecting the rights to bear arms, not guns. Arms includes many more weapons than guns. Why can't we bear all "arms" not just guns.

You sound like an individual riddled by fear. It sounds like you fear there are a lot of people after you. Maybe that is true.
I do not spend a lot of time worrying about those things. My life has gone well.

Actually, this is a racist post........you must hate minorities ....

Well, no. Because once you dig a little deeper, and you see exactly which regions of those "red states" are experiencing the most gun violence, the picture becomes clearer. In Mississippi, for example, the most violent per capita of "red states," there were 844 gun deaths in 2023. But within Mississippi, the area with the most gun violence was Leflore County.

In Missouri, the area with the most gun violence was the city of St. Louis. In Louisiana, the area with the most gun violence is Caddo Parish, home of Shreveport, one of the most violent cities in the nation. In New Mexico, the area with the most gun violence is Otero County. And in Alabama, the area with the most gun violence is Dallas County.

What do these areas have in common? Other than Otero County, all these violent areas have a majority black population.

But if you bring up these demographics, rest assured: USAFacts has pegged you for the racist you are, and has pre-empted your silly statistics. Gun violence, you see, is driven by "complex factors" such as "community conditions like poverty and racial or ethnic inequities (emphasis mine)."
-------
Black areas are more violent because they've been pigeonholed into a perpetual welfare state by their Democrat charmers in order to guarantee their votes. Democrats have hooked too many blacks on the twin intoxicants of government dependency and evasion of personal responsibility which, more than slavery or the KKK or Jim Crow, has absolutely devastated the black community. I have no doubt that a deeper dig into the statistics would reveal that these same violent areas are off the charts in fatherlessness, drug addiction, and child abuse, all of which are inevitable consequences of the welfare state.

Governments, not armed citizens, commit more murder with guns...

Europe...

In the 1920s, they began the process of registering guns....to make their people safer. That was the lie. by the mid 1930s, the socialists in Germany began the process of banning and confiscating guns, and the same for the countries they defeated......using the gun registration lists created in the 1920s....

By 1939, the German socialists began to murder 15 million - 20 million people....in 6 years.....men, women and over 1 million children.

6 years, 15 million- 20 million murdered citizens..not war dead, innocent people rounded up and murdered in camps and forests....

Including 1 million children

15 million in 6 years.

In the United States, gun murder for our entire 247 year history?

Around 2,470,000

Europe.... 15-20 million murdered in 6 years.

U.S..... 2,470,000 murdered in 247 years

How many hundreds of years will it take the U.S. to catch up with the number of Europeans murdered by their governments.....

Lives saved....based on research? By law abiding gun owners using guns to stop criminals?

Case Closed: Kleck Is Still Correct

There are roughly 100,000 people shot in the United States yearly, and something over 30,000 die. If this 1/3 vs. 2/3 ratio of deaths to injuries in actual shootings pertains in these DGUs, that makes for at least 176,000 lives saved—less some attackers who lost their lives to defenders. This enormous benefit dwarfs, both in human and economic terms, the losses trumpeted by hoplophobes who only choose to see the risk side of the equation.

Actually, guns prevent mass murder.....the worst kind of gun murder that is responsible for millions of deaths......

THE SWISS WERE PREPARED TO FIGHT FACISM TO THE BITTER END | FRONTLINE | PBS

That is why the Nazis despised Switzerland. Joseph Goebbels called Switzerland "this stinking little state" where "sentiment has turned very much against us." Adolf Hitler decided that "all the rubbish of small nations still existing in Europe must be liquidated," even if it meant he would later "be attacked as the 'Butcher of the Swiss.'"

The 1940 Nazi invasion plan, Operation Tannenbaum, was not executed, and SS Oberst Hermann Bohme's 1943 memorandum warned that an invasion of Switzerland would be too costly because every man was armed and trained to shoot. This did not stop the Gestapo from preparing lists of Swiss to be liquidated once the Nazis overran the country.

The other European nations were easily toppled and had little means to wage a partisan war against the occupation. Once their standing armies were defeated, the governments capitulated and the populaces were defenseless.

Only in Switzerland was the entire populace armed and prepared to wage a relentless guerrilla war against an invader. When the war began in 1939, Switzerland mobilized 435,000 citizen soldiers out of a population of 4.2 million. Production figures for Swiss service rifles, which had firepower equal to those of the Germans, demonstrate an ample supply of small arms. Swiss militiamen were instructed to disregard any alleged "official" surrender as enemy propaganda and, if necessary, to fight individually. This meant that a nation of sharpshooters would be sniping at German soldiers at long ranges from every mountain.

While neutral, Switzerland was prepared to fight a Nazi invasion to the end. The celebrated Swiss Gen. Henri Guisan developed the strategy known as defense du reduit--an initial opposition followed by a retreat into the Alps, where a relentless war to the death would be waged. Most Swiss strongly opposed Nazism. Death sentences were issued for fifth-column activities, and proclamations against anti-Semitism were passed at various official levels. There was no Holocaust on Swiss soil, something that can not be said for France, the Netherlands, Poland or most of Europe.

What makes you think we can't?
The Court has held that “the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of the founding,”
If a weapon is a "bearable arm" the 2nd protects our right to own and use it.
