The taxpayers get to provide a lifetime of food and housing for this guy because he did something that will soon be legal and then they wonder why their taxes are so high.

Its beyond that of course. The gentleman is an habitual offender. He has had long record as a scofflaw. The law was passed because he was considered incorrigible.

BTW, the libs gave Paul Manafort life in prison in solitary confinement no less, for a first time non-violent offense by a disabled senior citizen.

Of course Manafort is a honky, so f him.

Manafort WAS in prison, in solitary, sent there by libs, until President Trump exonerated him. And if it wasn't for the Trumpster, he'd still be there.

The sentence was based on prior felonies, including 2 prior home burglaries, and illegal possession of a firearm. Possession of 1.5-8 OZ of maryj, for a first time offense in the Sip, is a max of 3 years and $3K fine.

The more prior convictions one has the stiffer the sentence for another felony. Not saying I agree with the sentence.

This is good news for those investors shorting Twinkies and Taco Bell.

People do need money to support their habit. How soon we forget!
