To achieve good health both are necessary. There is no shortage of nutrition and lifestyle advice. What is lacking is the knowledge of how our bodies actually work. This requires the study of anatomy and various bodily processes, particularly digestion. Even the ancient Greeks believed that most diseases had their beginnings with poor digestion. So, the process of digestion deserves a closer look.

OMG I got sick recently and lost 40 pounds. Know what I learned? F exercising. Just watch what you put in your mouth.

Now, if you want to get more muscular or tighten up, exercise. But losing weight only takes eating less.

I would love to start a fat farm business. I would have every person lose 30 pounds in 30 days. Light exercise and portion control.

Losing weight is easy. Keeping it off is hard.

I disagree. Everyone who's ever been a bodybuilder knows it's a lot harder to get into that kind of shape than it is to maintain it. So yes, most people who lose weight tend to gain it back. So you must be right. But I'm telling you, the hardest thing is to lose it. It's not that hard to keep the weight off.

Keeping it off is not "hard". It's just that gaining it back is so easy.

But keeping it off isn't hard at all if you try. See what I'm saying?

I am speaking from personal experience. I lost 70 pounds, then I gained it back. To keep it off you have to be hungry all the time, and not eat the things that appeal to you.
