No one is denying Israel struck first in 1967, but what you are denying is the mobilization of Arab armies on Israel's border coupled with the violent, genocidal rhetoric of the Arab leaders.

The USS liberty waded into waters they weren't supposed to be in. They didn't identify themselves, and Israel was not expecting them to be there. (edit: also, Arab armies and ships would deliberately misidentify themselves as a tactic in the war, and other nations have done the same thing before and after) So naturally, Israel thought it was an enemy ship because only enemy ships had been in the warzone.

Was that assumption a mistake? Yes.

Doesn't this incident prove that the US wasn't supporting Israel in the 1967 war? So all the rhetoric you people have been saying about US support for Israel isn't actually entirely true, is it? The US didn't aid or assist Israel in 1967, but the USSR did aid and assist the Arab countries.

Unfortunately, this is the only proposal that makes sense.

There are 2 billions Muslims who control 57 ethnostates spanning 10,000,000 square miles of land across three continents. Surely they can find a place for these people in their lands.

Israel, India, and Pakistan all took in their displaced peoples when each was partitioned. Only Arabs didn't. So now, they should. All Palestinians living in "camps" in those countries should become citizens of that country (Jordan in particular).

Mass and involuntary deportations are not only legally and morally wrong, they will not solve the problem. Those Arabs willing to live peacefully and alongside Jews and become Israeli Arabs should remain. This has worked successfully in Israel, where a healthy percentage of Arab citizens has created a positive outcome for both them and Israel.

As a matter of fact, I also didn't see as any interest of mine to support either side in the clash between the Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland 40 years ago.
