Every cogent person in the U.S. knows that the results of the 2020 election will be revealed in fits and starts, beginning in late October and lasting at least until mid-November, and possibly well into 2021. It is inevitable and almost unavoidable. BOTH CAMPAIGNS have hired armies of litigators, poised to challenge any close results in any states that go against their candidate. The places where most of the legal activity will focus are big cities in swing states (Philadelphia, Miami, Cleveland, Milwaukee), where the cities will vote with overwhelming margins for Biden-Harris, and the outlying areas and rural areas will vote overwhelmingly for Trump, but where the robustness of the voting security in the cities will be marginal, at best.

The only eventuality that could derail this likely scenario would be a landslide result on Election Day for either candidate, and that is extremely unlikely.

So into this scenario we introduce compromised "journalists" wanting to create a "news" story that could be embarrassing to the President. They ask him if he will accept the election results and peacefully move out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Of course, NO SITTING PRESIDENT under the same circumstances would commit to anything of the sort. Most, being lawyers, would create some non-answer answer like, "only when the final results are certified," knowing that that might be June 2021. But Our Beloved President, meaning exactly the same thing, responds, "we'll have to see about that."

And the Media explodes like a California wildfire. All the usual Trump haters are asked to comment on the President's assault on the integrity of the election. We can all see it play our right now.

There is no story. It is not news. It is merely the President responding honestly to a question with an entirely appropriate answer.

I hate these fukkers.

Talk to trump about this because he has never said he would accept the results. Not in 2016 and not now. He has been the only one doing this.

The election dates of note are December 8t and December 12th.

The "safe harbor" ends on December 8th, and the electors vote on December 12th.

Any controversy after that goes to congress not the courts.

It goes to congress the first week of January.
No matter what the courts say after December 12th means nothing.

OP, Trump is the one manufacturing this crisis.

SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!!
Why do you think Trump won't control the riots? The worse America looks, the better for Trumps "law and order" position.
The democrats are going to riot and state that president Trump needs to step down as an illegitimate president - no matter what the outcome.

That's why they are trying to get him to admit that he will stand down no matter what the circumstance. But as usual, our president is far more intelligent than they are, seeing the plan from miles away.

Meanwhile, the democrat position is as Hillary said "Do not concede under any circumstances."

Then let's commit both parties to "when the results are known" instead of yammering "they are going to cheat."
