20th century Democrats did not make excuses and we’re not racist against white people or denigrating American history, they got things done which is what brought us the greatest American middle class ever which was in the 20th century that was when we had the most prosperous working class.

We have 3.4% unemployment with more people working than ever.

Inflation has eased and is only sticky because of corporation pricing power. The working class is still spending and driving our consumer economy...so your point is mute.

Things went smoother from Reagan days through the Clinton years when the two opposing party politicians talked to each other and not as sworn enemies, sometimes coming together for the benefit of the country, sometimes not, but for ideological reasons, not because of some half baked crazy colony idea that the other side was the devil to be despised and fought, if for not other reason than just being the other party. I doubt I am from your generation, and know you've been sold a bill of goods, detrimental to two party governance.
