Last we heard about the Luftwaffe, they were guarding Colonel Hogan and his fun loving band of POW's in Stalag 13.

If NATO's mission is now to protect European nations' American territory against the United States, then it seems a bit odd that the United States would continue to be the primary funder of NATO. Time to zero that budget out.

Is that a cargo plane or a heavy bomber? i wonder what U.S. cities would be its primary targets? Will germany require a third beat down from the United States?

If so, we have just the one to beat them.

Yeah, The EU taking action to prevent a US invasion of a NATO ally is something to be proud of or make fun of....Idiot MAGAs.

Oh come on!

It's so silly that it makes fun of itself.

You really think Trump is going to invade Greenland? His SecState just met with Danish and Greenlandic leaders.

If you really do believe that, do you really believe the Gaylords of Europe could stop him?

You may be right and I hope you are right. Whether he invades or not the damage to the alliance has been done. Germany sending a plane or France sending some troops is about sending a message rather than as a deterrent force.

What is the message, exactly?

I'd not worry about the 28 personnel they left there.
The 13 Germans and 15 Frenchies?

Hopefully, they are well-officered and dont do anything stupid.

I worry about the Greenlanders, especially children, if EU troops are anything like UN "Peacekeepers."
