Second: The US spends more on education than other countries. In 2014, the US spent an average of $16,268 a year to educate a pupil from primary through tertiary education, well above the global average of $10,759.

Maybe I should also throw in the fact that school funding happens at the local level, and where the Democrats run things are the worst of all, AD that money never gets to the kids, it goes into the hands of democrat lackey unions.
