National Socialists in Germany turned Germany into the most prosperous country in Europe in the 1930s. The USSR was also quite impressive in its development in the 1930s after it was no longer fighting a revolution.

You conveniently forget that the US, UK, France and 10 other countries invaded Soviet Russia in 1918, right after WW1. Over 200 thousand foreign troops were fighting against the Red Army, alongside the White Tsarist armies. The Marxist socialists won that war and sent all of the invaders retreating back, out of Russia. WW2 in Europe was essentially a war between socialists. National Socialists vs Marxist Socialists. Seven out of ten German soldiers were fighting in the Eastern Front, not vs the US and UK, in Western Europe. The Western Front was smaller, less important to the Third Reich, than the Russian Soviet front.

Government sets up the construct for corporations, that is why they exist. They have special rights and privileges associated with them

The US government, if it was socialist, wouldn't have allowed such monopolies or the collapse of local small businesses, despite the pandemic. A national socialist government, wouldn't have allowed Covid to spread the way it did, because we would've had infrastructure in place, plenty of manufacturing, and emergency stocks of medical equipment and other resources.

We would've provided all Americans with an income (unemployment), quarantined the country, through a government mandate for a couple of months, and made not wearing a mask in public, crowded venues a criminal offense, worthy of jail time. Trump defunded the department that was supposed to detect possible pandemics and protect us. He was walking around without a mask, claiming that Covid was just the regular flu. He claimed that Americans would be in church within a few weeks, and on Easter Day 2020, encouraged America to attend church.

Socialism, at least the definition of it, is government controlling industry.

Hitler was at least smart enough to realize that bureaucrats running industry was not such a good idea since they had no expertise in it. However, he made sure those in industry knew that he was in charge and would do as he said or else.
