Had he been convicted of a felony, he wouldn't have been able to buy a firearm legally. But it's not her fault, it's the guns fault.

I entered the workforce full time in 1977. There were low wage jobs then and there are low wage jobs today. Nothing has changed. There was no possible way to support yourself on MW back then and you can't support yourself on MW today. The difference is Democrats didn't have enough power to subsidize those workers like they do today. When people needed more money, they worked more hours, found better paying jobs, or both. That's why we never had a labor problem back then.

People consider my state of Ohio as a red state, even though it's technically purple. But our state government is ran by Republicans and many conservative ones outside our Governor. Where does our crime come from? Red lib cities, that's where; Cleveland, Columbus, Youngstown, Akron, Canton, Dayton, all liberal led and some of them for decades. It's like that in every red state. States don't choose their leadership for blue cities, they do that on their own.

As far as gun statistics go, our violent and gun crimes have been on the decline since the mid 90s which is proportional with more and more states adopting CCW laws or passing constitutional carry. it didn't start going the other way until Ferguson, yes a lib city as usual. But even that was temporary.

Our unemployment rate is measured by surveys. If you are surveyed and state you are unemployed but looking for a job, you are considered unemployed. If you answer you do not work and not looking for a job, you are not considered unemployed. That's why these statistics are so misleading.

We have millions of people living off of taxpayers and not looking for work. Why should they? Government will provide you with housing, even in the suburbs. You get a free smart phone. Your utilities are partially or fully paid by taxpayers. The commies passed the American connectivity program, so these people also get discounted or free internet and cable. The taxpayers also feed you which is why our food stamp people are generally fat and out of shape. So why work?

That's where our labor shortage comes from.

I can think of some things I'd love to see changed here and more closely resemble a European nation. The appreciation of arts for one thing; health care systems, and a few other things.
