I used to write my husbands English papers when he was in college :D Yeah, we cheated, but I love writing, and he has the worst problem with trying to find the words.
Now, he'd give me the gist, I'd go from there. Man, he made some good grades on those papers :D
My kids like me at that age-----he just hates to sit down and waste perfectly good time to do it

 I love it..My wife and I would read to our daughter all the time.
We used our finger to draw attention to what we were reading and
before she could talk she would turn the page when we reached the end
without anyone asking her to. It was a shock the first time she did it.
Isn't that great!! So smart!!
For Christmas my husband and I got them each a Leap pad. They had the 'My first Leap pad' for their age, but we got the one step up, for 4 and older. My mom said they were too young for it, but these kids love them. They sit there with the little pen and go through all the words. And it has a mic with it. You can record your name and all kinds of stuff, well, they know how to work that thing. You can go touch it now, and it says "My favorite food is..." and on BOTH you can hear them say "ice cream", LOL!
Sorry, I babble when I talk about my kids, LOL!! They're just so dang smart!!

I was like that too. Now I love doing research and writing, then I hated it. If I could only go back in time and know what I know now~ LOL!

Same here. And it just kills me to hear them talk sometimes.
Joshies on this "technology" kick. We were at the grocery store and Josh said, "Now there's some technology". I busted out laughing and asked where, and Pate said, "back there mommy" and pointed to the big window in the meat section. The guys were in the back with those big machines cutting meat and grinding the hamburger. They just kill me! :D

It's not one of them things frogs use??? :cof:
No, it's like a little computer that you put different books in. It has a pen that you run over the words and it pronounces them for you. There's some buttons you run the pen over and it will ask you questions and you answer in the mic.
They have one that is a map of the USA. You put the pen on a state and it tells you the name of the state, the capital, the population, and will tell you the distance from one state to another. There's books for everything! I love that thing, and so do they :D
