With the unprecedented indictment of a former president likely imminent, we must prepare for another first in our nation’s history — attempted congressional interference with a state prosecution of a former president.

Although no charges have yet been filed against Donald Trump, congressional interference has already begun, with GOP Reps. ( OBSTRUCTION AGAIN)

Jim Jordan, Bryan Steil and James Comer sending a letter to the Manhattan district attorney requesting documents and testimony before the so-called weaponization of the federal government subcommittee panel.

Congress cannot lawfully use its investigative power to engage in law enforcement.

Congress cannot lawfully
use its investigative power to engage in law enforcement.

But we argue that is precisely what these congressmen are attempting by seeking to second-guess and superintend a single specific pending case by a prosecutor

THE FAKE RPEUBLICANS are pushing a cover up. They are attempting to find out who is on the list for an indictment. Then
they want to interfere with the process. Damn these fake people
are so stupid when they are running scared.

NO NO NO congress has no jurisdiction whatsoever over the Manhattan investigation NONE. For those of you believe this is Russia, China, Saudi Arabia or North Korea do some homework.

Speaker McCarthy;

I am concerned about the March 20, 2023 letter (copy attached) you directed Rep. Jim Jordan, Chair of the Committee on the Judiciary, Rep. James Comer, Chair of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, and Rep. Bryan Steil, Chair of the Committee on House Administration to send to Mr. Alvin L. Bragg, Jr., Manhattan District Attorney.

The letter threatens to interfere with D.A. Bragg’s investigation into an alleged hush money payment to hide an alleged affair from voters who might have turned away from the then-candidate and current leader of the Republican Party in the days before the 2016 presidential election.

Unfortunately, Jordan, Comer, and Steil failed to acknowledge that Congress has no legitimate legislative reason to investigate a state district attorney, and, at the same time, they ignored the obvious fact that the Tenth Amendment says, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

In your haste to mollify MAGA voters to reduce your chances of being subjected to primary challenges before the 2024 election, you, Jordan, Comer, and Steil may have violated New York Penal Law § 195.05, Obstructing governmental administration.

The overreaching problem here, Speaker McCarthy, is that voters did not give Republicans the House majority, so you, Jordan, Comer, and Steil could use that mandate to interfere in a criminal investigation, no matter how much political sway the target of that investigation may have.

The voters gave Republicans the House majority to use its power to resolve pressing issues that impact the lives of all Americans, not just a favored few.

Many may say that I’m expecting too much, but I sincerely hope that you and your caucus will finally come to your public servant senses and do the jobs taxpayers pay you to do and never again put political self-interest ahead of the needs of the American people.

I remain patiently hopeful,

Davy Z Jones

The incident was in 2006 = Rump was not president.

Wrong, this is a response spin post to Braggs obstruction of the Biden investigations which can lead to alot of political corruption.
In other words it's a double negative, Congress is determining if there was obstruction by thr DOJ and Politicians ordering Bragg or involved in this scheme to obstruct the Biden investigations.
In laymans term Dems always have to repeat the charge onto their opponents to Confuse se their dupes and make it a wash politically, basically a giant childish "I know you are but what am I"
This post being just that, a childish ploy at plagiarism regarding my accusation towards Bragg's obstructing Congress.

Since you have no proof, the payments were made in 2016. The date of the alleged affair makes it irrelevant.
The date the crime took place is quite important ............seeking the intimate relation of a woman other than his wife really tells how much of a whore he is.
