No shit, the Capitol was closed on 5 Jan to the PUBLIC. Politicians are allowed to scheduled chaperoned / guided tours or entry into the Capitol after closing time.
He scheduled the trip, had ID badges for the individuals who were there to take photos of art. He stayed with them the whole time and escorted them out when done...

Colberts people were in the building and told to leave because they had no IDs / passes, and were escorted out. They then came back when the building was closed. Criminal Schiff let them in the building, gave them no IDs, No passes, and cut them loose without escorting them. They then, ignorantly - being in the building illegally, the way Schiff left them - started banging on doors and making a big ruckus...

They illegally re-entered the building with Adma Schiffs help... ILLEGALLY... they remained to harass McConnel and the Colorado house member. The truth is, Loudermilk simply gave a tour to some of his constituents...not that the 6 Jan Committee cared / cares about the truth.
'Capitol Police Chief Manger sent a letter to Rep. Rodney Davis, (R-Ill.), the ranking Republican on the House Administration Committee. In it, he stated there was no evidence Loudermilk led a super-secret info-gathering mission on Jan. 5. Loudermilk was cleared of the 6 Jan Committee's false accusations.
Republicans / Loudermilk are understandably angry at all of the false, debunked accusations made against many people.
It is being rumored that the reason for the 6 Jan Committee's hearing delay is to remove their video clip of their false accusation against Loudermilk in their cherty-picked montage film they planned to show.

Yep, he went out of his way to give the tour himself, to this special group, which is odd....weird, unusual for a Congress critter to do, when tours were off limits....congress critters could only get passes for guests that they were working with... like contractors or lobbyists from what's being reported.... That's what is weird about it....along with those type of tours being off limits during covid lockdowns......1. There is nothing weird about Representatives giving guided access into the building or even personal tours.
What is 'odd' is a Representative, who had already been proven guilty of Perjury and attempting to overthrow the US President / govt by manufacturing false evidence against him in an attempt to remove him from office, letting 7 people who had been kicked out of the building earlier backinto the building without IDs or passes, and then allowing them to roam around unescorted.
Unescorted and no official authorization into the building was partly why some people were wandering around the Capitol on 6 Jan and why they were held for a year and charged with crimes.
Colbert's people were stupid - knowing they were illegally in the building after hours without IDs, passes, or escorts they proceeded to cause a disturbance by banging on Rep's doors and harassing them.
What Schiff did was against rules and was CRIMINAL.

The Tunnels are NOT open to the public for viewing or photography because they're a SECURITY FEATURE. Most "public buildings" have areas not open or generally accessible to the public.In the Capitol Building?
