NY State defines a conviction as this:

Conviction - When the court enters a plea of guilty or a finding of guilt by a jury or the Court??

Of course he will be my president, he won the election.... ;)

And just like Biden was YOUR president, when HE WON in 2020!

Did you do something special like bow or kneel or curtsey before Biden 2020-2024?

Nor will I do this for Trump....but he's still the President, temporarily, of my country, and from me, he will get that acknowledgment/respect.

The unprecedented use of LAWFARE by a sitting administration is the PROBLEM. It must be recognized as such and REMEDIED.
And, it will be......

This administration via a special prosecutor had two cases against Trump. The obstruction of justice by Trump in the classified documents case, and the Jan 6 election subversion case. Both valid cases and not lawfare. The rest were either civil cases or charges made by the states....and not this administration. How hard that seems to be, for you to actually understand?

And, this so called pre planned and illegal retribution and vengeance by Trump, is pure lawlessness! That's a fact! And you seem to be joyous of such lawlessness! Sad, sad indeed! My, my, how far you Trumpers have fallen!

Conviction happens when you are found guilty. Sentencing is a separate step that happens afterwards. Being convicted is not dependent on being sentenced.
You better check on the state of NY.
