To be defamed you have to show harm. How do you show harm if people are ultimately immune from any responsibility for the actions of others informed by your information (or misinformation rather)?
The point being is that misinformation is harmful. You claim that ultimately everyone is responsible for their own actions, I guess. But you ignore that people are influenced by information, which makes the people who convey that information also responsible. Without that responsibility, there could be no defamation.

Tons of people to this day claim the vaccine is ineffective.
That belief led to a lot of death. The delta wave occurred after the vaccine was introduced and was brutal.

It’s not government censorship. The government did not force anyone to do anything with speech.
Meanwhile the OP here is calling for people to be tried for treason for speaking in a way they don’t like and Trump has routinely threatened consequences for news media when they don’t say what he wants. That would be censorship. Clear as day.

The problem is you guys think you have the RIGHT to post whatever you want on social media websites which are privately owned and operated. You don’t.
The right wing fundamentally doesn’t understand the the first amendment doesn’t override the right to use personal property as you see fit. Social media websites all require you to sign a terms of use that says they have the right to take down your content for any reason whatsoever or no reason. It’s their right because it’s their property you’re using.
Are you American? Do you understand that you can’t force a company to post your content?

Covid-19 was and is a weird disease that's for sure. Certainly not the same as it was when it first came to our Shores. Wonder why we could never hold China accountable along with any Americans who were involved. Didn't Biden pretty much immediately disband the investigation into it and we never heard about it again? I definitely think there was a scandal there that could be let out into the open, but the smell would be nauseating.
