I am not a slow witted right winger, thank you very much. We didn't try to destroy the hardened runways, no, but this was about the use of chemical weapons, not bombing the rebels. We may not like who he's bombing, but that was not the point being made. We hit one small airbase with the unspoken threat to hit more if he uses chemical weapons again. Hopefully he listens and this is all over. Doubtful but one can hope.

Such is the hypocrisy and blind partisanism of most Trump supporters, ‘anti-interventionists’ rushing in to defend Trump’s reckless, unwarranted attack on Syria because they perceive the attack as bolstering a failing Trump administration.

It’s both sad and amusing to watch Trump supporters twist themselves into pretzels in a failed attempt to justify the attack as ‘benefiting’ America, when in fact nothing could be further from the truth.
