a funny story.. see you if agree?

An Asian couple/household was going to be interviewed for a wonderful piece of local television documentary of sorts. Well, knowing this the neighbors awaited for the film crew to arrive and see what sort of 'spectacular' this could be. The Asian Couple was well known in their neighborhood, well liked and well respected. They weren't on everyone's 'invite over' list but they were quiet and nice and gentle. They were, well, not to be stereotypical, but they were very nice Asians.., the sorts one would have imagined them to be...

Well, soon enough the film crew arrives.. It was mid afternoon.. Maybe 3 or so.. The sun was still out and bright..

The crew gets out of the van.. goes to the rear, opens the back up.. takes out some large black boxes, sound equipment maybe, this and that. During this time, another goes to the front door, rings the door bell, and when the Asian couple opens the door and realizes that the film crew was there, they exchanged some brief words, left the front door open and scuttled back into the home.. Maybe they wanted to make sure all the 'settings' was 'just right' for this event.

Well. the film crew grabs all that 'luggage', hauls it to the front door, places the equipment on the ground and takes their shoes off. After all, it was an Asian house. They gather up the luggage and enter in.. hot day.. Glad they got there...


Well... one of the couple's children unexpectedly came home right before the 'shoot' was going to start. She goes indoors, sees the commotion, remembers that this 'shoot' was going to occur, says hello and runs to her room to grab what she forgot.. She grabs what she came for, goes across the home, gets to the front door and she was back at what she was doing... Not too much time lost on her part. While she is driving, she thinks.. ..

She gets to her destination, gets out and her friend is there waiting.. not too much time lost and friends can wait a few extra minutes.. after all at around that time of day many would rather take things slower than faster... they get to table and orders some beverages..

The conversation goes on.. etc etc... so.. anything new, her friend asks..

yeah, she says.. those film crew members...

yeah? the friend replies..

They, well, they were sweating and had their socks on...

And?

Were they in those socks all day?

Because she was a funny sort of Asian comic in today's time.. she opens her purse jiggles this here and that there.. seemingly finding what she seemed to have opened her purse for...

She tells her friend over the table.. look the other way and when I tell you turn back..

The friend obliges...

She takes out the large paper clamper, places it on her nose and says.. okay...

the friend turns around...


they both had a good laugh..


a few hours later, she is heading back home... It's past 6 and she has plenty of time to cook up some left overs that might be in the fridge...

She gets home and goes to her room, places everything down, goes to the kitchen, opens the fridge, looks to see what she will eat, pours a cup of cold lemonade, and goes to sit on the living room couch.. Mom and dad just comes in from the hallway, and sits on the other couch, adjacent. They looking to the open center between the couches in front of them... They stare at the location for a while.

Mom gets up.. Dad lays on the couch to stretch out.. and mom comes back in with a spray a bucket and some rags... Go to the room if you want to lie down, she tells her husband...

back to dinner, daughter thought.

Israel can be criticized for many things. But one thing no honest person can accuse them of, is not trying to find a solution. There are dozens of examples.

In 2005, Israel forcibly removed thousands on thousands of Jewish people from homes in the Gaza strip. Not only did they remove these people with military force, but they destroyed all the buildings, homes, shops, and so on.

Instead of leading to less conflict with the people of Gaza, it resulted in the Gaza War just 3 years later.
And this is not about land. Some of these small Jewish enclaves existed for decades. One of them was legally purchased land, by a jew back in 1930.

Yet today, even to this day, almost 15 years after Israel forced Jewish people who legally purchased the land to abandon their homes, and have them demolished, those abandoned ruins have never been occupied, or rebuilt by the people in Gaza.

They didn't want the land. They didn't care about the real estate. They simply wanted to kill jews. That's it.

I can still remember listening to PBS News hour, where they talked with the protesters at the fence between Palestine and Israel, and asked them what they were fighting for. Land? Rights? Equality?

"We want to burn them". (they were sending over balloons with petrol bombs.) When asked what they would do if that got through the security fence, they said openly they would kill jews.

Israel has tried dozens of times to make peace, and these people refused.

Penelope knows this. She is not a dumb person. She is a very smart person. She knows all of this.

That's the problem with education. Educating a good person, will make them a better person. But educating an evil person, just makes them even more evil and terrible. That is Penelope. She knows the truth, and continues to spread lies and deceit.

We need less of those like her in this country.
