I have enjoyed debate of gun rights vs gun control since 1993, starting on USENET in talk.politics.guns.
Back then the anti-gunners could form reasoned, articulate arguments and make their points without appeals to emotion or constant denigration and dehumanizing of their opponent.
Today your side has devolved into a bunch of scat throwing monkeys who can't make any reasoned argument without accusing your opponent of being psychopathic Neanderthals who are willing to ignore piles of dead children while caressing their penis extensions.
I try to engage in reasoned arguments centered on the philosophical, historical and legal aspects of gun rights vs gun control and my posts usually kill the thread and off the front page it rolls . . .
If any side has "lost it" it is exclusively the anti-gun side.
From the elected legislators to the man-on-the-street you have no arguments that reasonable people will accept and when you are rejected you respond with anger and contemptuous vitriol directed to those who dismiss your "common sense" ideas, alternating congratulating yourself on your tolerance and intelligence and throwing out unhinged accusations.
