The GOP Has a Problem: My Generation Isn't Conservative

I dont care for conservatism very much but it is a hell of a lot better than regressive illiberalism.

"regressive illiberalism"? Seems to me that this defines the current iteration of Trumpism.

perhaps an improved summary:

In the United States, the Republican Party has in recent years faced criticism that it is becoming increasingly illiberal under the leadership of President Donald Trump.[26][27][28] According to a study by the V-Dem Institute, the Republican Party has become more illiberal and populist in the last two decades with an increase under the leadership of Donald Trump.[29][30] Trump's populist style of governance coupled with authoritarian values have been considered a dangerous risk to the heart of liberal democracy, as well an indifference towards traditional democratic allies and praising other “strongman rulers” in the world like Putin.[31]
So, you think Trump was authoritarian?
How would you describe the current regime?
When the constitution is followed, authoritarianism isnt possible.

Trump certainly tried to be as authoritarian as possible, but not enough for some

When you’re 20 and you’re not a liberal you don’t have a heart. When you’re 30 and you’re not a conservative you don’t have a brain.
I'm 32 and still have my brain.

Well, kinda, it's mostly bong resin at this point.

I'm sure it's in pristine condition, aside from the drug use, given that you apparently have never actually used it.

Millennials and Generation Z show no sign of growing more conservative over time like the Boomers did. We must address the age gap.

The GOP has a problem, and it MIGHT be because they haven't had a good President since *checks notes*

1992.
I consider myself a mid-range conservative. That would be a Ben Shapiro-type conservative. What party do I have, a party that is divided with Trump on one side and some level or rational thought on the other side or, is my party one that has gone over the edge with wokeness and various other divisive philosophies? I have not voted for a major party presidential candidate in three elections. So it is hard for me to blame some younger generation for their political positions.

I'd say it's impossible for you to blame anyone for anything, since you admit that you've done fuck-all about it yourself. You sat on the sidelines and shrugged and said, "You guys do whatever you want." Stop whining.
Where did I admit anything?

"I have not voted for a major party presidential candidate in three elections."

Do you not read your own posts as you write them? Or do you just not remember them?

LOL! LOLOL!!! Trump was voted "History's Worst Authoritarian" 4 years in a row!

He let his Intel Agencies spy on him.

His DOJ only prosecuted one low level lawyer who apparently thought up the Steele Dossier and decided to make the FBI spy on Trump - all by himself

The news agencies ran 95% negative stories

His political opponents pays the CCP to develop and release a bioweapon to disrupt the 2020 election

His opponent bragged about the most extensive voter fraud operation and sho'nuff, they stole the election in the tens of millions column

There was an "insurgency" where the only person murdered was a female Air Force Vet Trump supporter

But Trump's an Authoritarian Dictator!

I love how the Internet has allowed you to vaporize the very concept of Liberal Intelligence!

Dictators tend to rig elections. Not fall victim to rigged elections.

In case you haven't looked around, it's America that has the problem. It's close to burning down around us and neither political party gives a damn.

Yeah. You kids have been bred to be lazy authoritarians.
Dont know what will happen when all of you useless deadweights start arguing over who has to do all the work and who gets to sit on their fat asses jerking off to anime porn all day.
Imagine their shock and horror when they realize that hating isn't a paid profession and most people don't give a damn what they think OR how they feel...

Ah yes, the "Victory by Attrition" idea. I remember hearing that the bulk of racists are old white guys. When they die out the racism would die out. The majority of homophobes are old white men. When they die out LGBT people will be accepted.

How is any of that working out so far?

No wonder you're an idiot. You don't have hair on you balls yet. Get a few decades of life experience before you mouth off.

You do know Gay Marriage is legal, right?

...?

As in, the old white people that hated it died, and now it's a thing.
