Millennials and Generation Z show no sign of growing more conservative over time like the Boomers did. We must address the age gap.

The GOP has a problem, and it MIGHT be because they haven't had a good President since *checks notes*
1992.
I did a politcal science major at Uni.
There is an agenda behind this article, and it is based on a really, REALLY bad survey, with pretty much useless date.
First off, the sample size is "
data gathered by surveying 801 high-school students and 819 college students."
Honestly? That is not a sample size large enough to really tell us anything meaningful. How do we know? Well, lets look closer at their data;
https://www.yaf.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/2021-YAF-Survey-Topline-1.pdf
They tell us;
2046.[QUrbanRural] How would you describe the area in which you live? TOTALIN HSPOST HS1.City33%34%33%2.Suburb near a city45%43%47%3.Small town not near a city11%10%12%4.Rural or country area10%13%8%
That basically, is only a combined total of respondents of roughly 20% live in either rural or small town, IOW, fly over county.
The last census tell us;
U.S. Cities are Home to 62.7 Percent of the U.S. Population, but Comprise Just 3.5 Percent of Land Area
A majority of the U.S. population lives in incorporated places or cities, although these areas only make up a small fraction of the U.S. land area.

SO? Nearly a 20% discrepancy? And when we are talking a sample size as small as 1600 kids? 20% of that's basing an entire article off of just 320 kids, when the national average, as I said, if the had done an accurate survey, should have been double that.
Why does this matter? Because kids from smaller communities tend to attend religious services and be more conservative. I could do a multi-varied analysis on ALL this data and find just as much discrepancy. The religious participation is just as skewed of a number.
Now, why would an establishment neo-con CFR publication want to push this narrative?
I can't say for sure. . I could only offer up some theories.
