The GOP Has a Problem: My Generation Isn't Conservative

your conception of "hate" is calling someone with an "X" and a "Y" chromosome a male.
False. It's more you cult freaks uniting in a common hate for them and speaking of them as and pushing for treatment of them as subhumans, to get your nasty little jollies. Glad i could clarify for the simpleminded.
I couldn't give a damn about them, so long as they don't rub their "lifestyle" in my face.

Of course, that's exactly what they do.

When you demonstrate your ability to read minds, perhaps someone will pay attention to your ranting.

The problem with "conservatives" is their refusal to differentiate between conserving good things and conserving bad things. If you act to "conserve" the mistakes of society, like racism and misogyny, you are perpetuating a society in which some people think that they are owed something or are entitled to something based on nothing but their physical bodies.

Many times what is considered "traditional" encompasses built-in mistreatment.
No one is trying to conserve any of that, you fucking moron. The people who believe they are owed something all voted for Biden.

The "conservatives" damned sure are trying to perpetuate evils such as racism and misogyny. Their dirt cults are thick with it. Discrimination on basis of skin color and ethnicity. Open penis worship.

You are either blind or lying. You people have to start explaining this shit rather than calling people stupid names. Neither white skin nor having a penis makes you better or more entitled than anyone else.

You have it completely backwards. It is the Democrats that promote racism and sexism. I don’t think there should be any accomadations made on base or sex. Leave any race or gender identifying information off of employment and college applications and only call or admit those that actually qualify. The left despises that idea because they want race and gender to be a part of every discussion. I am not sure why those on the left can’t see this. Some type of deep seeded, unconscious guilt I guess.
Nobody knows who these "leftists" are. That said, racism misogyny, religious discrimination, homophobia, and other evils have existed in our society throughout history. To the extent that they are still factors in incidents in present times they need to be talked about.

There is a movement in this country, seemingly led by a mouthy subset of our white, heterosexual male population, to run away from these issues. These guys are total cowards and represent the lower rungs of US society.. Most people can discuss these issues openly and in a civilized manner. All these guys do is run and hide.

We all know these issues existed in our history. Many of us also know they are far, far less prevalent today. Time to move on and stop lamenting the past. It is counter productive to spend too much energy lamenting the past instead of focusing on the future. It is also counter productive to reward people for indescretions their ancestors may(or may not) have experienced.

A poor white kid from rural WV stands no better or worse chance of making it in the US as a poor black kid from an inner city. The fact that the poor white kid’s great grandfather’s farm may, for example, have been a victim of imminent domain and his inheritance essentially stolen is no different than the fact that the poor black kid’s great grandfather may have been keep from getting a certain job due to his race. Both ancestors were harmed effecting future generations, but we certainly don’t want to go down that kind of rabbit hole. Both have every opportunity currently to make it on their own and they need to take the initiative to do so, not waller in self-pity and/or expect special treatment. The Democrats choose the latter approach.

We know what groups are ruining America.

I guess watching in horror as GOPers storm our capital with Confederate flags didn't help the situation much for the Republican party, as far as Millenials are concerned.

Oops!
Uh the riots were started by the Democrat funded Antifa.oops!

Millennials and Generation Z show no sign of growing more conservative over time like the Boomers did. We must address the age gap.

The GOP has a problem, and it MIGHT be because they haven't had a good President since *checks notes*

1992.

Or it might be that dimwit children are allowed to remain dimwit children forever, instead of being forced to grow up and shoulder adult responsibility, the way baby boomers and Gen Xers were.

Please spare us your immature and ignorant assessments of "good Presidents' as though we're supposed to believe you would know one way or the other.

 :yes_text12: And especially sense he is just a child that lives at home.you know that avatar thete of that lady with him is his mom.

That's okay, the generation below them--my kids' ages, 22 and 24--are *definitely* more conservative. They can't stand the wokeism that affected their classmates, they have been burned by Covid restrictions, they're marrying younger, they didn't get the nice Covid benefits, etc. They have seen the ravages of Big Gov and they hate it.

My older son falls into that age range too. He often expresses his contempt for "wokeism". I was so proud of him not too long ago when he decided that he wants to go into the carpentry trade because, as he said, "You get paid well to learn, instead of running up a school loan debt, you come out of training making really good money, and you get to actually make something with your own hands."

My kid's friends (ages 20 to 29) are mostly liberal nuts. The liberal college professors have indoctrinated them.

JEFFERSON DAVIS WAS the last great democrat president

It has been the case for the past several generations that young people, particularly "intelligent" young people going off to college are "liberal" in their viewpoints, and become more liberal throughout their university experience.

Then, when they go out to try to earn a living and see how much of their earnings are taken away in taxes, and see how many people are sucking off the government's teats, they quickly begin to see the Conservative side of things.

But this transition is muted, obfuscated, delayed, and even totally avoided for the past few generations. They are supported by their parents until nearly middle age, they go to work for government, social agencies, foundations, etc., which are divorced from the real world. They never have to support themselves independently until they are in their 30's and 40's, by which time their intellectual growth is a thing of the past, and all of their friends are similarly insulated from reality.

And of course the culture abhors people who actually take responsibility for their own lives and affairs. How many Gen-X people on scripted TV have real jobs and are supporting themselves independently? Not many.

In short, the challenge of supporting oneself in the real world used to be a Rite of Passage into adulthood, which was usually associated with a shift in political leanings from Left to Right. But the Left has tried to obliterate that passage by promising today's young adults everything they want, provided by "someone else's" taxes. You don't have to repay those student loans. You don't have support those kids. You don't have to take care of your elderly parents, and on and on.

Young adults are not shifting to the Right politically because they are brought up to be pussies. And there you have it.
