GDP goes year after year after year too.

We generate far more wealth every year than we lose.

$1.2 trillion isn’t much compared to the economy.

That's the thinking of someone who thinks the numbers are reality, instead of the numbers reflecting reality.

WTF are you talking about? This policy is based on emotional needs, not reality.

Says the side that demands we treat men as women OR ELSE.

Or that bans ICE vehicle sales because they are afraid of the weather.

More emotions. Thanks for proving my point.

Just pointing out your side's hypocrisy.

Nothing emotional about that.
It an emotional convulsion when you’re presented with facts you can’t deal with.

According to the world trade data his tariffs that he posted other countries charge us are way off. In this link it shows the weighted tariffs the countries impose on us.
They're not going to check the accuracy of data they think helps them. If anything, they'll multiply it.

What little reputation we had in the world after Trump's Cabinet Kidsâ„¢ insulted Europe to its face a few weeks ago is now gone, and it's not coming back any time soon. The rest of the world is doing everything it can do move on, and I can't blame them.

As concerned as I was, this has been a fucking horror show.

what facts?

So far all the left is saying that what Trump is doing could maybe might would sorta cause something.

Trades are a small fraction of GDP.

The US is a wealth generation machine and you’re worried about a fraction of that wealth leaving the country IN EXCHANGE for stuff we want.

You don’t really have a reason why you don’t like this. It just FEELS bad.

The first two months of Trump's second Presidency are historic
#Stock market is off to one of the worst starts of any presidency since 1950
# Fed says tariffs will increase inflation. Interest rates will not come down and they may go up
# there has been chaos, confusion and abuse of power since day one
# The countries of the world see China as a better trading partner than the USA. China is loving it.
# The US's stongest ally in the world is Russia
# The biggest shit show in US history
# consumer confidence is plummeting
#wage growth is less than inflation
#Trump is undermining the Constitutions seperation of powers
# wake up people

1) the Fed is forecasting two rate cuts, while morgage rates have already dropped by 13 points since Jan.
2) you got that one basic fact, wrong, the rest of claims are wrong too.

A bunch of small cuts can lead to bleeding out.

There is also a government debt issue, issues with large blue city pension funds being woefully underfunded, Social security going net negative, as well as the impending population bust due to low birth rates.

Of all these, the trade deficit is the one the President has the most levers to work with. So he picked it.

If he fucks up, you guys swamp the mid terms and can play the impeachment game again.

Other than that, what's the big deal? It's just rich people getting poorer... its just money.... its.. its.. its.. just great what he is doing to bring back slave labor work jobs to the US. Its just what we all want.. to be poor and working in factories. :auiqs.jpg:

It’s a shitty analogy. It’s like making $100 every day in pay and freaking out that you get a $3 beer at the pub on the way home. Don’t you realize! You’re running a trade deficit with the pub!

No they never do. Navarro may have a PHD in economics but pretty fucking stupid street wise.

No, not really. I am getting the beer valued at 3 dollars, and they are getting 3 dollars.

A trade deficit would be me importing $100 dollars of goods or services, and only exporting $80 dollars. I'd have a deficit of $20.00. With your pub hypo, we are not in a deficit at all with the pub, I'm exporting $3, and importing 3 dollars worth of good and services in the beer.

You’re a moron who totally misunderstood the analogy.

Well, because it was simply stupid. I thought you were trying to make a point, but clearly you don't know what trade deficits are.

Yes , a historic DISASTER !

Thanks for proving your own stupidity and inability to understand even the most simple concepts.

But you were the one that compared trade deficits with buying a beer at a bar for three dollars. There is no deficit in your comparison. The beer cost three bucks, you gave three bucks, and got the beer served to you.
