Most of that green money has gone to red states and have created tens of thousands of jobs in those red states.
That's $522 billion you are expecting Republican Senators to cut off.
In North Carolina alone, 47 new facilities have been created, which could lead to 20,000 new jobs.
Our power grid is maxed out. We are going to need every means of producing energy we can find, especially with the massive energy demands of AI.
"Green energy" funding also encompasses new nuclear power plants, which I am in favor of.
Clean energy dollars are gushing to red states. Now GOP senators are in a bind.

trump is turning the WH into a slot machine. He is setting up a new precedent for future Presidents of both parties.

I am certain Trump has always been enthralled with Putin, beginning long before Trump was elected.
"Will Putin become my new best friend?"
I guess after Jeffrey Epstein was no longer his best friend, Trump was fishing about.
Everything Trump does foreign-policy wise is directly beneficial to Putin and to China.
As soon as Trump returned for canoodling with Putin in Saudi Arabia, he began echoing every one of Putin's talking points. Zelensky is a dictator, Ukraine started the way, etc. He then put on an incredibly embarrassing show of slapping Zelensky around in the Oval Office.
One of the most shameful moments in American history.
Also, I have been mentioning for months how Trump is destroying the soft power we exert around the world and that our enemies will jump on the opportunity to fill that power vacuum.

OK, I confess. Covid was a Trump/GOP project; pretty obvious really.
It will take generations to recover from the trump regime...that is if we ever do. His refusal to abide by court orders, even USSC orders, is his venture into authoritairanism. And how are court orders enforced? They are enforced by the DOJ. The DOJ has become trump's personal law firm.
The only mechainishm that will stop trump, at this point, in political pressure. But the repubs in congress are so afraid of trump, they will let him do whatever he wants. Until they are voted out, trump will continue his march to become an authoritarian. The scary part is trump junior is talking about carrying on his efforts.
Can you imagine? The trump royal family in power for decades?

But then again, it worked for his daddy.
It seems MAGA like people that display symptoms of mental disorders.
Ironically that maybe the only answer. Pay off all the debt at 10 cents on the dollar. And then set budgets where we don't have to borrow anything from anyone. Living within our means. No tax breaks for anyone but much lower rates. Unfortunately that would send US and the rest of the world into a crisis that might make things even worse. trump never looks at the big picture and the consequences of his actions. This is real life , there are no perfect solutions just like there isn't any perfect person. Despite what trump believes.
trump is trying to correct a trade imbalance that has been developing for the last couple decades...in months. In the process he has created a scenario where the US cannot be trusted and the status of the dollar as world's currency is in doubt. And he has 3 1/2 more years to screw the country up.

Your average MAGAT cannot differentiate between targeted tariffs and the blanket tariffs Trump is trying to force on everybody.
As I have posted several time, trump is trying to correct a trade imbalance that has been decades in the making. And he is trying to correct it in months. In the process, he has destroyed confidence in the US government and he has strengthened the standing of our adversaries in other countries. It will take generations to recover from the mess the trump regime has created.
