Is homosexuality worthy fighting for?
Religion points us towards ideals. Are ideals worth fighting for?

Unfortunately--and religions are waking up to this--those who exploit religion as a handy, ready-made group, dangle an ideal to fight about: Mom, country, apple pie--and God.

Well, the people of 1600 BC (when Genesis was written) had no knowledge of older and other religions around the globe yet, so it could not have been a call out against other names used for God by other religions, but as a call out against paganism and the practice of worshiping idolatry usually made to look part human and part animal.

Yes, people have lots of gods. Muslims have the moon god. Hindus have many.
Yes Israel has worshiped many gods.

those commandments are fallacies used by monarchist in support of their feudal religion. moses, judaism.

monotheism is all are equal who reside in the heavens there is nothing greater or lesser than any other being in the heavens.
