It teaches people to fall for conspiracy theories about vaccines, Jewish space lasers, pedophile rings in the basements of pizza parlors, the Earth being only 6,000 years old, Haitians eating dogs, Paul Pelosi being attacked by a gay prostitute, rigged voting machines, five million illegals voting in our elections, windmill noise causing cancer, George Washington seizing airports, Barack Obama being born in Kenya, Muslims cheering on rooftops on 9/11, ad infinitum.

I have not seen a single critical thinking skill exercised by the Trump cult on this forum ever, so you can imagine my amusement at another right wing conspiracy theory about "the intentional sabotage of the US education system by America's enemies".

The fact is, as I have said countless times, our education system is not teaching our children for the jobs of tomorrow. We are stuck in a mode that teaches the jobs of our fathers and grandfathers.

The fact is, no one on the Right has actually put forth a plan of action other than to "put God back in our schools" and privatization.

I went to a private school up until high school. It was great.

But not all private or public schools are equal. Some have political and/or religious agendas and completely fail at an actual education which prepares kids for the jobs of tomorrow.

We need heavy emphasis on mathematics and science, something which is almost antithetical to the Right's agenda.

If people are taught math and science, and especially taught critical thinking, all of the bullshit performance artistry by politicians on the left and right would fall flat. Dead flat.

But lunacy and idiocy are the coin of the realm today. If you are looking for an intentional enemy of our education system, look no further than your orange Mussolini and his traveling circus.

Are you suggesting that all public schools should become magnet schools, or are you just trying to burnish your own reputation?

No. My point actually is that magnet schools drain the talent from every good school and collects them together. Have you ever heard the "cream of the crop"? Take the top 10 percent of performing students out 10 different school and place them in one new school. You now have one astronomically fantastic school and 10 mediocre ones because the law of averages works!

I did my master's on this. I know what I am talking about. I saw it in action in the Jacksonville and Louisville public schools.
