The FDA's Fixation on Nut Milk Labeling Is Not About Food Safety or Consumer Health

The FDA's Fixation on Nut Milk Labeling Is Not About Food Safety or Consumer Health

"No one buys almond milk under the false illusion that it came from a cow," Sen. Mike Lee (R–Utah) noted last year. "They buy almond milk because it didn't come from a cow."

Is there a thing with not calling "almond milk" "almond milk"?

I mean I could put human milk in a plain container and sneak it to ppl I guess.

We better just make things say what they are.

Oh, And while we're relabeling, if TaTa motors makes a car I want their name to be on it the largest. This way we know who'se new we're watching, who we are supporting, what company is that big

Almond Breeze only contains 2% of almonds. The rest is water, cane sugar, an ingredient that might cause cancer, etc. Dairy milk is actually higher in calcium and vitamins than almond milk.

There was actually a class action about the labeling, which the company, Blue a Diamond, settled agreeing to change it.

Entmoot lactation porn ... a much under-rated genre of erotica.
