ABC essentially fired Jimmy Kimmel. Breaking news: They "suspended his show indefinitely". His show was already going to get axed. Now ABC can fire him for breach of contract and not pay him. They have tons of clauses in those contracts to fire people who bring shame to the network.

I think that is what ABC and Nexstar have in mind. Nexstar is already the largest single local TV station owner in the nation and the FCC will have to remove the 40% limit in order to approve their merger. I believe that is what the end game is for ABC. If the FCC approves this, we will be well on our way and, IMO, ABC will bring Kimmel and worse back.
