Well that is true - the rights aren’t the problem. Sadly though, you believe them to be. If you didn’t think they were the issue - you wouldn’t have said “outdated” to start. You would have said “the wording”.
Um, guy, you miss the point I am trying to make. One more time.
The Electoral College is a mess, designed because the Slave Rapists didn't trust the people. But hte people got it right in 2016, the EC got it horribly wrong. (Unless you think a president who mocks the disabled and gold star families is a good thing.)
The fact is - the 2nd Amendment clearly and indisputably states “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”. It doesn’t say anything about the right of the militia. The militia was simply the prefatory clause. It was the why. The what, however, is the right of the people.
Except until 2008, no one interpreted it that way. But more to the point, Adam Lanza shouldn't have access to military grade weapons. That's just ******* crazy.
Yes, I have, snowflake. DNA exonerated Thomas Jefferson. Monticello unfortunately has miserable, hateful, unhappy progressives such as yourself. All you people are doing is ruining your own credibility. Thomas Jefferson’s has been restored thanks to DNA.
Actually, all DNA did was prove that a MALE in the Jefferson Household was the father of Sally's kids. It could have been Thomas, or one of his sons, or one of his brothers or nephews.
It didn't eliminate Jefferson, just eliminated all the 'non-Jeffersons". Jefferson's descendants and Hemings descendants share the Y Chromosome.
So now that we've limited to pool from "Every Male In Virginia" to "Just Men in Jefferson Family", we have to take it a step further. Jefferson, not his family, were the ones accused at the time of banging her. Jefferson was the person who OWNED her. And more importantly, Jefferson was the one who was married to her half-sister who she bore more than a passing resemblance to.
But let's leave that aside. Jefferson did profit off the labor of Hemings and all the other slaves at Monticello. It's a case of someone screaming about "Freedom" and profiting off the exploitation of others.
America's Original Sin. We are still paying for it.
