No...we didn’t snowflake. That’s why the American people elected Ronald Reagan. The Jimmy Carter “Great Recession” was the second worst economy in U.S. history (behind only the “Great Depression” overseen by another Dumbocrat - FDR).
Um, no, guy. The recession of 80 was nowhere near as bad as the ones in 82 and 08.
Here's the thing you'd know about the Recession of 80 if you weren't a child. It was INTENTIONAL. It was intentionally triggered by the fed to fight inflation.
People don’t limit a President to one term because they are having their “greatest prosperity”.
NO, they limit him because he didn't start an unnecessary war with Iran over hostages. If the hostages had been freed, Carter would have won a second term, easily. Again, if you weren't 25, you'd know this.
And not for nothing - but it was Dumbocrat John F. Kennedy who slashed the idiotic tax rates on the wealthy. Of course, being that you’re in junior high you don’t know that. You prove every day that there’s a lot you don’t know.
Kennedy slashed the top rate from 93% to 70%. And do you know who called it irresponsible? The Republicans, including Barry Goldwater.
That's called "a typical power-hungry left-wing dictator". Every single president in U.S. history followed George Washington's lead and stepped down voluntarily after two terms. Leave it to a left-wing dirt-bag like FDR to run for 4 terms.
And what did the American people do as soon as that dirt-bag died? They immediately created a term limit! And why? Because FDR was a nightmare.
Actually, we already had terms limits, they were called "Elections". If the people really and truly felt FDR had done anything other than a truly fantastic job, they could have voted him out in 1940 or 1944. In fact, Dewey ran on the 22nd amendment, and he STILL lost like THIS.
The reason why they put the 22nd Amendment in place is because FDR felt obligated to keep running even though he was pretty darned sick.
The only person who thought FDR was a nightmare at the time was Hitler and a few rich oligarchs in the US who didn't like paying their fair share.
