Teenagers certainly do. It isn't a lot of money- most get paid more than the federal minimum nowadays- but its essential for the kids to get gasoline into their rides, as well as provide money for their beer, pot and cigarettes. Although its my understanding that high school kids do a lot more vaping nowadays.
Why would they need gasoline for their rides, it's not like they have anywhere to go at this point.
Nobody looks back fondly at that minimum wage job they had to do in HS or College. I know I don't.
Schools are still open, and they still visit and hang out with their friends, drive thru joints are still open. Not as many places are as open as before, but presumably will be soon enough.
Maybe they don't "like" their jobs, but they still have to do them. Do you expect parents to fund their teenagers and drive them everywhere?
