Imagine if the first explorers from Europe had felt that way. We would all be living in the old world with no idea there were islands a North American or South American continent. We might not have even journeyed to China.
Going by previous history at some point there will be a mass extinction event on earth.it would be nice to think that some part of mankind might survive

The first trip to the moon was a waste of time. Leaving our atmosphere a wate of time as well but look at alll of the new technology that became about because of it. It actually expanded the world economy exponentially.

I know that your opinion does make sense. i wouldnt knock you for it but its always important to keep an open mind about things anyways.

exactly. Everything we really needed was right there in Europe. Why did we need to go looking for something else when seeds needed to be planted and the harvest needed to be made?
The synical ones always have a valid logic but humans have always had the explorers among us and they will always resist the ones who say to stay put. Its always been that way and it always will be IMO.
