DET showed a lot of breakaway speed. Almost shocking they can't seem to score? Huh?

Other teams lost today not being able to score inside the ten. Denver could have lost? SEA couldnt score and lost. AZ lol.

DET should have the ball back around 2 min. Totally cheated by the pass interference call. Ridiculous what the league is becoming. Probably makes no difference but the game is being destroyed more and more.

All my family is from pittsburgh so obviously they are my team since day one but I am also realistic too

the bleed black and gold should give it away

I follow all teams from that city, not any bandwagon jumper

has some of the oldest woods still in operation, over 100 years old

thunderbolt, racer with a unique to train that race and the jackrabbit with a hump that scared the shit out of me when I was like 12, my ass left the seat

now they have metal, steel phantom I was on, it goes down to the river fast and then hard left turn

They have a new one steel curtain which is even faster, hold onto balls, it's a doozy

The wind was a factor, but Campbell's play calling was ridiculous. Got to give the Eagles defense credit, they were all over Goff and the receivers. Yes that last PI call was atrocious if anything it was OFFENSIVE PI. If you are going to have replay, include penalty calls/non-calls in the 4th quarter.

As a life-long Lions fan (63 years), I watched the Philly game with some trepidation after what the Eagles did to Green Bay. This year's OL is not nearly as good as they were with Ragnow and Zeitler last year, and Goff does not have the quickness or agility to avoid a good pass rush. They can beat the so-so and bad teams, but they're going to struggle with the good defenses. At 6-4, they'll pretty much have to win out, perhaps with one loss in there somewhere; you'd think 12-5 would at least get you into the playoffs. But advancing in them looks to be problematical, cuz it's hard to win when you lose at the LOS. Kudos to the Lions defense, they played very well. But the offense is predicated on giving Goff time and space to throw and if he doesn't have that then he's screwed.

I think there are times when going for it on 4th down is a bad idea. This game had the defense being trustworthy while the offense was not, and to me it's smarter to pin the Eagles deep in their end of the field than to keep trying to convert a 4th down at midfield.

I dislike placing too much blame on one guy, but Glasgow isn't getting it down at Center. It's too late this year, maybe they have a late-season surge and make the playoffs and maybe even win a playoff game. But I don't see this OL playing well against a good defense and the Lions offense absolutely requires time and space for Goff to find an open guy and deliver the ball.

RAMS looked good beating SEA. Every week but the SF game at LA the Rams look the best in NFC. No poor BIG games. They dominate games more than others.

PHI looks good overall but LA can score. TB KC DEN BUFF SF right there too. KC got beat but they were in it.

If KC gets a WC? No one will want to play them, no matter what DEN did to them yesterday.

Example: End zone pass interference (bad call on Uncatchable or DEF is RESPONDING to Offense contact). Ball goes to 1 yd line. Game changer on 3rd down.

Next play they may call offense holding.

I think Campbell didn't trust his IOL to get the 1st down on the ground with Monty. Considering how the Lions OL got pushed around, I can kinda see the logic there.

Nah, I don't think they do that. In their line of work, they have to fuly focus on the next play.

I kinda think one penalty call should be challengeable in the 4th qtr in the last 2 minutes or so. That call took away the Lions chance to make a comeback, and ought to be reviewable. The league should be trying to ensure as much as possible that the games are correctly called.
