The Eagles made the Lions offense look like high school kids tonight.

Ticky Tack touch fouls called willy nilly by power hungry refs need to be ended. O-line holding is tough to police but other penalties are easy.

Another favorite "illegal contact". Receiver runs full speed out ten yards and may intentionally run into DB. Play mag be on other side of the field. That's nuts.

Plenty more I could post. QB arm going forward yet ball drops at his feet? Come on.

Goff 1st QB to go 0-12 under duress since....Blake Bordles lol!

I think Campbell didn't trust his IOL to get the 1st down on the ground with Monty. Considering how the Lions OL got pushed around, I can kinda see the logic there.

Nah, I don't think they do that. In their line of work, they have to fuly focus on the next play.

I kinda think one penalty call should be challengeable in the 4th qtr in the last 2 minutes or so. That call took away the Lions chance to make a comeback, and ought to be reviewable. The league should be trying to ensure as much as possible that the games are correctly called.
He ran Gibbs up the middle a couple of times on 4th down. That's what I mean, Gibbs is the scatback Montgomery is the banger.

About 40/50 years ago Howard Cosell was a guest on a talk show. He was asked about the game of football at that current time. He said, "Football is a simple game that has been made complicated". Today it is much more so.

True, but you know what's coming when it's 4th and 1 and Monty is in. With Gibbs, the defense doesn't know, he can go anywhere and if he breaks through the line he could be gone. The Lions OL was getting stuffed on 3rd down and I suspect Campbell didn't trust them to get one freakin' yard up the middle. That's why they went to a pass on 4th down 3 times.

Take sticky gloves off WR. Then find out what's real in DEC. One handed spider-man all over now.

Is Montgomery in Campbells' doghouse? Six runs and one catch all night?
