The thing about Dr Fauci is that he doesn't really care about the economic fallout. All he cares about is what it would take to contain the virus. We haven't really seen a good analysis yet of the actual cost of containing the virus like Fauci wants to. All we know is that it's a huge number. Huge enough to give Trump and others some second thoughts on the way we do this.
