I am not religious myself, but I have a huge support for the 1A, and I think religious people generally make much better neighbors than anti-religious, intolerant folk.

I don't agree with the tenor of Psaki's statements that immediately point to this incident as police violence or that the vulnerabilities of foster children came into play here, because at least for now, it looks like by the time the cops arrived, the moment for deescalation was long gone and she was just about to kill someone.

YES it's sad, sad as hell, that children in this country are killing each other these days. Nothing wrong with sending sympathies to the Bryant family for their loss, but it's too early to be tidily wrapping this up as another example of police violence. The other way of looking at it is that the cop arrived in the knick of time.

Should we wait to see what the investigation says? It will probably always be a question, since Ma'Khia is not able to tell us her side of the story.
