One of the major failins of our public school system since the 60's is how they have failed to teach the real truth regarding communim and instead and in fact have romanticized it.

It was once mandated that 11th grade history include a substantial amount of time devoted to "Americanism vs Communism". Our war hero history teacher was distinctly uncomfortable teaching it.
